Welcome to my blog! I know that our Father will, in some way, bless both of us for your visit.
Please allow me to expand a little on the header for my blog; they, necessarily, have a pretty tight limit on what you can post there.
The title wibGism comes from the words "what i believe God is showing me." As I indicate in my preamble, this site is primarily a log of things which I believe the Holy Spirit has revealed (or is revealing to me) during my prayer time or while studying the Word or perhaps just riding down the road and minding my own business.
In addition to the Scripture mentioned in the preamble, in the Gospel of John Jesus told His disciples this: "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of everything I have said to you."(John 14:26) Shortly thereafter, He again said to them: "But when He, the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what he hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you."(John 16: 13-15) The Apostle Paul brought this home to us when he taught, "We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: 'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him'- but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truth in spiritual words."(1 Cor 2:6-13)
Please know: This is not about me trying to preach to you or trying to teach you something! You can go to most any church and get that, if that is what you are looking for. And please, don't leave this site and go and tell others that MarkMc said "this" or MarkMc said "that" about a certain subject. My purpose for sharing these thoughts and revelations with you are twofold: First, I implore you to take the subject and Scripture references I provide to the Lord and ask Him to show you what He wants you to know about them, so that we can distill the truths we need to live by in this mostly "lost" world; and second, I need for you to let me know if what I am writing does not line up with the Word of Truth or if you detect scriptural or writing errors. BY ALL MEANS, if you disagree with something I have written or you think a piece is just wrong, please provide scriptural references which support your argument and let's hash out the truth. After all, at the end of the day, it's all about trying to live and minister in the Kingdom of God.
